Susan Nguyen
Susan (she/her) is a registered general psychologist who provides a collaborative, and non-judgemental therapeutic approach to therapy from various evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing. You will always expect Susan to approach all clients with a warm and safe approach to ease clients into therapy and tailoring treatment plans that will meet their needs. Susan has wide experience from volunteering, to phone support, adults and the elderly as well as working with children and adolescents. Clients services have ranged to service a diverse clientele. This has enhanced her ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and strengthening her cultural competency. She is committed to delivering authentic and compassionate care for clients going through a tough time with a deepened understanding of diverse communities. Regardless of age, race, gender, or background you come from, Susan applies a culturally safe perspective to her work and supports the LGBTQIA+ community.
