Psychologist and Peadiatric Therapy

Susan Nguyen

Susan (she/her) is a registered general psychologist who offers a warm, collaborative, and non-judgemental approach to therapy. She draws upon a range of evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing. Susan carefully tailors each treatment plan to suit the individual needs of her clients, helping them feel safe, supported, and empowered throughout the therapeutic journey.

Her breadth of experience includes volunteering, telephone support services, and clinical work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. This has enabled her to support a wide and diverse client base. Susan’s work with individuals from varied cultural and social backgrounds has enhanced her cultural competence and strengthened her ability to build meaningful therapeutic relationships.

Susan is committed to providing authentic and compassionate care for those navigating challenging times. She approaches her work with a culturally safe perspective and is an inclusive, affirming psychologist who actively supports the LGBTQIA+ community. Regardless of age, race, gender, or background, Susan strives to create a respectful and welcoming space where all clients feel heard, valued, and understood.
